There are published here (1) the Journal of 1796, covering the journey to the Western Reserve and the surveys during the first summer; (2) the journal from Cleaveland to Canandaigua, New York, fall of 1796; (3) the Journal from Canandaigua to Suffield; (4) the Journal to New Connecticut in the spring of 1797 ... (5) the journal on the Reserve and at Cleaveland with the surveys of the second season ... (6) the Journal of the return to Connecticut in the winter of 1797-1798." Part 1 of this Tract (p. 2-26) includes the Annual report of the Society for 1913-1914, Articles of Incorporation officers, membership.

The collection consists of correspondence, notebooks, accounts, memorandums, agreements, journals, journal transcripts, field notes, financial papers and maps.
